Other Comparisons

Eventbrite vs mySEO: Questions

Is mySEO an alternative to Eventbrite?

Yes, for conferences. mySEO handles tickets and QR check-in like Eventbrite, and adds the attendee app, live chat, live Q&A, side events, leaderboards and sponsor click tracking that Eventbrite does not offer.

Is mySEO cheaper than Eventbrite?

Not always. If you only need ticketing, Eventbrite can cost less. mySEO aims to be the best value: tickets, check-in, the attendee app, live Q&A, side events, leaderboards and sponsor tools in one payment per event, and we keep working on our pricing to stay competitive.

How much does Eventbrite charge per ticket in the UK?

6.95% + £0.59 per paid ticket, with payment processing included and no cap (checked October 2026). On a £300 ticket that is about £21.44, usually passed to the buyer.

Does Eventbrite charge a monthly fee?

Publishing is free, but Eventbrite takes a fee on every paid ticket. Its optional Eventbrite Premium plan costs £59 a month in the UK, and Ads, extra email volume and instant payouts are paid extras. mySEO is a one-off payment per event with every feature included.

Can I contact all my Eventbrite attendees?

Eventbrite collects the buyer's details by default; you have to turn on per-attendee collection to get everyone's name and email. You can message attendees about the event, but marketing other events is limited to buyers who opted in.

Does Eventbrite have a conference app?

Not an event-specific one. Eventbrite has a consumer app for discovering events and storing tickets, but no attendee networking, live Q&A or sponsor features.

When does Eventbrite pay organisers?

By default, 3 days after the event. Established organisers can get earlier payouts, with 20% held in reserve.

When is Eventbrite the better choice?

For public or consumer events that rely on its marketplace to sell tickets, for free events, and when you only need ticketing.
